Plan for Safety and Health
Plan for safety and health, PSS should ensure that everyone working in the square, has a good working environment. The plan may also be a good management tool for construction management.
The developer must always prepare a written plan, if two or more employers concurrently employ more than 10 people in the square. On construction sites with several employers and fewer than 10 persons simultaneously at the site, only a plan for safety and health, whose work is particularly dangerous.
PSS must be available before the site is established and it must be kept updated. PSS over the entire construction period be available for employees and employers on the site.
The developer should not normally prepare a written PSS on small and medium construction sites (less than 10 people simultaneously). It is recommended however that there is always drawn a PSS, except for very small and safe buildings.
Plan Content
There are rules on how a PSS must be prepared and what it should contain. A PSS shall consist amongst others of an organization plan, site sketch, a description of how the square will be worked by several employers and a description of the safeguards to be established.
Coordinators
Notwithstanding the site size to the client security coordinators help employers collaborate on necessary safety measures so that work on site at all times to place the safety and health with complete safety. Security Coordinator must update the PSS, as work on site is progressing and any changes are made.
