Some Tips to Prevent Cancer.

A significant percent of cancers could be prevented if during the life we made a number of precautions that have been proven to reduce the chance of developing various cancers. In this paper we present some recommendations that should become facts of everyday life.

1. Change in eating habits: Calorie restriction, varied diet that meets the recommendations of vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

2. Avoid obesity from an early age. Obesity in childhood causes premature and incomplete development of the reproductive organs, cancer waiting room of the reproductive organs.

3. Reduce animal fat in the diet. Animal fats stimulate the production of bile acids that are mixed with feces and travel to the colon where they are converted into carcinogenic compounds by bacteria of the intestinal flora.

8. Consumption of foods rich in fiber such as cereals and legumes for their content of carotenoids, vitamins C and E. We recommend eating between 600 and 800 grams of legumes, whole grains and meats.

9. Limit consumption of red meat and animal foods especially those high in fat. We suggest using less than 80 grams per day for the contribution of calories from this food group does not exceed 10% of the total.

10. Avoid grilled foods rich in protein, particularly red meat because they tend to the formation of carbonyl derivatives of pyridine and, potentially carcinogenic substances.

11. Avoid alcohol and stop smoking completely.
If you drink alcohol, it is recommended to be limited to two drinks or less per day for men and one drink or less per day in women. In the case of wine for their proven protective effects were recommended to be limited to one or two drinks a day.
